More About Rosie
I come to RLS with over 18 years of early childhood teaching experience, in the Oakland Unified School district and other private schools. I have extensive experience teaching infants and toddlers, as well as preschool age children.
I am a mother of 2 boys, Angel,17 years old, and Chris,3 years old. They are my pride and joy. I am the youngest of 3 siblings and through caring for my nieces, I found I had a talent and passion for teaching young children.
I am especially interested in nurturing children's development through creative art. I am fluent in Spanish, and am happy to lead “Spanish Circle” each day! I love helping the children develop and grow into interesting, capable individuals who are curious about the world around them. It’s fun to learn right along with them!
I’m so happy to have joined the RLS community! I especially enjoy the feeling of “family” that is RLS. What a lovely and supportive environment to work and play in!
I look forward to getting to know each of you better as time goes on.

Being patient and loving to the children.
What makes working with young children special to you?
All children deserve the best of their first years of preschool. Help children become independent, confident, and happy.
