I've been passionate about working with young children since I was very young. I've been a preschool teacher for the past 12 years, working with infants through 4-year-olds. I was born and raised in Mexico before moving to California when I was 13. I truly enjoy sharing my native culture with my students through literature, games, and especially music! I've worked at two different Spanish immersion schools and bring a wealth of knowledge on how to make learning a new language exciting and fun.

I really appreciate the opportunity to work with children as they explore, learn, and develop new interests and skills. A significant part of my focus is getting to know each child individually, their family story, and their unique temperament. I am committed to building relationships based on trust and respect with all the children and families I work with.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancé, friends, and family. I have a huge extended family, so there are often celebrations of all kinds. Planning and decorating for many of these events is a hobby of mine. I also love spending time in nature as part of taking care of my mental and physical health. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, walks and reading on the beach, and I recently tried paddleboarding and fell in love with it!
