I was born in Mexico, and came to the US when I was a baby.  I am bilingual, and enjoy sharing my heritage and language with my students.

 I've been working with young children professionally for many years. First, at head start, as a home visitor, then when the pandemic began, I  transitioned to being a preschool teacher.  I have had extensive experience with children from newborn to age 5!  I've become very in tune with children's social, emotional and cognitive needs.  I'm happiest when I can help create an engaging, warm and imaginative space for the children to thrive.

I love to spend time with my family, especially my son who's 10. I like to hike, cook, and travel when I get the chance.
